A visit to Limassol Castle and museums may interest you. You can also enjoy a tour of a distillery, the largest drinks manufacturer on the island is KEO and they have regular tours, the tasting session at the end of the tour gives you the opportunity to find out more about Cypriot wines.

The Archaeology Museum has Bronze Age artifacts, pottery and jewelry among its exhibits. Limassol has many lively bars, discos and live music venues to keep you happy into the early hours. If you prefer a quieter pace there are many bars and restaurants to choose from where you can relax, enjoy and watch the world go by.

The town’s location makes an ideal holiday choice if you wish to explore and visit other sights and attractions on the island. A day spent in the Troodos Mountains is well worth doing here you will find traditional villages, lush valleys, famous monasteries and terrific views. It also makes a welcoming change from the heat of the coast.

Another tourist attraction you may want to visit while on holiday in this area is Aphrodite’s birthplace, it is here that the goddess of love is said to have emerged from the sea.

Limassol is Cyprus’s largest seaside resort and has plenty to offer its visitors. The transfer time from Paphos Airport is approximately one and a half hours.
