The Marbella coastline covers about 26km or 17miles there are many activities on offer to tempt you, you can choose a relaxing beach type holiday or a more energetic one sky diving, surfing, diving, golf, horse-riding, hiking and of course shopping, all are available in and around the resort area.

There are many beaches to choose from the most popular ones have good facilities including life guards and watersports on offer, you can hire pedlos, sunbathe and enjoy a cool drink at one of the beach bars. The seafront is lined with restaurants where you can lunch or have an evening meal.

As you explore the Old Town of Marbella with its little narrow streets you will find cafes, bars and boutiques to tempt you, the Orange Square, named after the orange trees that grow there was built in 1504, dominating the square is the church of Saint Mary construction began in the 16th century and later was re-done in the Baroque style.

A few minutes walk from the centre of the town will bring you to the very attractive Marbella Promenade here you can relax have some refreshments at one of the pavement cafes, enjoy the sea views and watch the world go by.

There is no shortage of entertainment in Marbella if you are looking for some energetic nightlife you will find it here, at the marina and in the town you can enjoy live music bars clubs and discos and many stay open till late in the summer months. In the Parque de la Represa is the museo Bonsai which may interest you it is the most important collection of Bonsai in Europe.

A famous area of Marbella is the ‘Golden Mile’ which stretches from Marbella to Puerto Banus you can take a boat trip from Marbella Marina which takes about 30minutes or walk to this coastal resort. Here you will see expensive beautiful yachts, a wealth of restaurants and cafes. If you enjoy shopping for designer labels you have come to the right place there are so many to tempt you! Why not have a coffee and watch out for the jet-set passing by.

The port has grown over the years and has a cinema complex and casino apart from all the designer shops. The nightlife buzzes, with clubs, music bars and discos plenty to keep you partying into the early hours, you may prefer to dine out at one of the many excellent restaurants, your choice.
