There are several sandy/shingle beaches to choose from, the main one gets very busy in the holiday season. You can take an excursion or taxi boat trip from here to nearby beaches, coves and caves.

There are various water sports on offer, snorkelling is especially good. It is also possible to rent a motorboat, ideal if you wish to explore by yourselves. Alternatively soak up the sun and enjoy the sea, umbrellas and chairs are available for hire on most of the beaches around the resort.

Nightlife can be enjoyed at one of the many excellent restaurants, traditional tavernas or bars; there are also discos if you are feeling energetic, open till late.

You may want to visit the beautiful cliff top Moni Theotokou monastery, it was founded in the 13th century, the present building dates from the 18th century, and it has a picturesque bell tower and a small museum.

You should take the opportunity to explore nearby attractions including the unspoilt village of Lakonis, stop for a drink and enjoy the breathtaking views. Paleokastritsa is the West Coast’s largest resort and is approximately 26km from Corfu Town.
