The bridge is one of the most important tourist attractions in the city. The bridge has three bridge towers the Old Bridge Towers have rich sculptures, an evening stroll on the 13th century Charles bridge is recommended to enjoy and admire the views of the Prague skyline.

Another must see is the famous Prague Castle, established in the 9th century, the original seat of Czech kings, some of the buildings are open to the public including Saint Vitus Cathedral. The Gothic cathedral took many centuries to build.

A popular and interesting part of the Prague Castle complex is the 15th century Golden Lane an enchanting small street lined with historic houses. The impressive Gothic Church of Our Lady Before Tyn may be of interest to you founded in 1385 with a baroque interior, its two spires tower above one side of the Old Town.

You will find a good selection of hotels, bars, nightclubs, cafes, restaurants and shops around Wenceslas Square which is Prague’s main boulevard. At the top end of the boulevard is a statue of St. Wenceslas on his horse.

You can enjoy some relaxation and refreshment at one of the cafes, to reflect and to appreciate the architecture and atmosphere of the Old Town Square. The square dates back to the late 12th century, the Old Town Hall with an Astronomical Clock which dates from 1410.

Towards the end of November through December you may want to visit the beautiful city of Prague and take advantage of the Christmas markets. You will experience memories of a Christmas past, with beautiful decorations, music, food stalls selling roasted chestnuts, gingerbread, pancakes etc. You can purchase hand crafted unique gifts and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere.

You may like to take a River Cruise along the River Vltava, well worth doing. The city of Prague contains a huge number of significant buildings and sights dating from all periods. There is plenty to discover here from history, art, culture and shopping to make your stay enjoyable and worthwhile.
